Merit and Achievement Certificates

It is best for teachers to print out these two certificates on different colored cardboard to clearly distinguish between them. Printing onto a thick cardboard of the color of your choice will make a more authentic certificate, rather than on paper.

A stick on silver star is advised for the Merit Certificate and a gold star for the Achievement Certificate. This is to add more worthiness to each certificate.

For higher quality it is better to print out rather than photocopy.

After printing out use the 'back' button to return to this page.

Merit Certificates can be given to students for any number of reasons. Examples are: Students who listen well in class. Students who try hard. Students who always do their homework. Students who show initiative.

Achievement Certificates are to be issued to students for the following: A student who can pass a test such as knowing all the letters in the alphabet, or days of the week, or months of the year. Students who know all the Flash Cards or Country Flags or Maths tests.

Achievement Certificates have a higher value than Merit Certificates.
